GRAMMATECH

GrammaTech is the leading developer of software-assurance tools and advanced cyber-security solutions. Originally founded at Cornell University, GrammaTech’s headquarters are in Ithaca, NY, with regional offices in Madison, WI and Davis, CA. Our software analysis experts create technologies that enable developers around the world to make software that is secure and of the highest quality.

Our software analysis technologies push the limits of scalability and soundness. We analyze both source code and binary code, which we apply to both static analysis and dynamic analysis techniques. We sell static analysis solutions to companies worldwide that have a zero-tolerance policy for defects and security vulnerabilities in their code. Our flagship product, CodeSonar, goes deeper than any other static analysis tool, finding the most significant flaws in code. We also work on large research projects funded by organizations at the epicenter of cyber-security.Most software just isn’t as secure as it needs to be. As cyber-attacks continue to pose a serious global threat, software must be developed with fewer defects and vulnerabilities. We don’t think it’s good enough to catch some bugs and miss others; we think that reducing the rate of false negatives is just as important as having few false positives. As hackers continue to create new ways to attack systems, our team is working relentlessly to provide our customers with cutting-edge, innovative defense systems for software attacks today and in the future.
Our technology is used by software developers spanning a myriad of industries and global markets, including avionics, medical, industrial control, and other mission-critical applications. Our customers include leading organizations such as Bausch & Lomb, GE, Hyundai, LG, Lockheed Martin, Panasonic, Samsung, and Sony. Our government-sponsored research includes projects with NASA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), National Science Foundation (NSF), U.S. Army, and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). We regularly collaborate with academic institutions and other advanced research businesses.
