Since their inception in 1998, Elmacom have progressed according to the investors’ plans.

The founder partners’ and the staff’s daily dedication to its work has led the company to fill an important place in the sector, highlighting its role, which was the company’s initial mission to become one of the supplier companies of products and services for the largest defence industries both in Italy and in Europe.

Initially born for manufacture of RF modules and components, Elmacom have extended their activities to the design and integration of complex units and equipment on customer’s specification to meet a variety of requirements for defence, civil and satellite communications.

Projects range from microwave to analogical and digital designs and from system’s software development to analysis and simulation.

The company has improved its internal organisation, production and technical means, both staff and machinery, with large investments in testing and measurement instrumentation, with an expansion into microwaves.

In 2001, the company was awarded ISO 9001 certification (ISO 9001/2000 successively) by the Certifying company DNV. Qualified staff make sure that the company abides by the standards.
The company also has the required qualifications for working with the defence sector.

The company also has plans to continue diversification of their products, to constantly expand the client base, also outside Italy, and to acquire new project capacity. For this purpose, technical collaboration has begun with specialised companies in complementary and essential sectors for the company’s progress.

The company also invests in advertising in internationally read magazines and uses external collaboration for advertising in certain areas of the telecommunications sectors.

For the promotion and sale of products in Europe, Elmacom make use of the Group’s companies in England, Spain and Germany.
