Litex

The company has been promoted by Dr. Avinash Kulkarni (Chairman & Managing Director) and Mr. Mahendra Shah (Jt. Managing Director), who between them have over twenty years experience in the U.S. Lamp industry. In September, 1981, commercial production of halogen lamps began at its Bhosari, Pune works (about 140 km from Mumbai). Since inception, Litex has been a pioneer in the field of Halogen Lamps in India, introducing a range of lamps like Copier Lamps, Infrared Lamps – it is even today the only manufacturer of these lamps in India and the chosen one by all major customers for speciality halogen lamps.

The company now owns a modern building of 7,500 sq. ft. built-up, and has 70 employees, including fifteen qualified engineers working for the company.
